What we do
We are a Therapeutic Horsemanship Center. We help people who are facing challenges due to a disability or trauma, partner with horses, to improve their cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being.
We are a Path International Certified Member Center. Our instructors are either Path Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors (CTRI) or they are skilled instructors who are pursuing their certification.
We provide lessons in groundwork, leading, grooming, care-taking, equine behavior, and riding instruction. We teach centered riding for both the English and Western riding styles. We offer adaptive riding to those students with disabilities which can help improve flexibility, balance, and muscle strength. In our equine-assisted learning activities, we incorporate the use of horses and the learning of horsemanship skills to teach a variety of life, educational and social skills to our students.
